Lyudmila Pavlichenko
Lyudmila Pavlichenko was the most coveted female Soviet sniper for the Red Army during WWII. She managed to put up an astonishing record of 309 sniped kills throughout her time in the army. These kills are only the recorded ones, some believe the number may be as high as 500. For Pavlichenko, sniping was second nature. One of her quotes "The only feeling I have is the great satisfaction a hunter feels who has killed a beast of prey." She truly was an Unsung Hero and this is her story.
